A distinguishing feature Capibola Blues Association is its efforts to establish a program of actions aimed at social sectors are often ignored and discriminated against by the usual channels: the elderly, sick and even inmates, all social groups especially sensitive and needs attention and consideration.

This year, under the VII FESTIVAL DE BLUES DE BARCELONA, this spirit of solidarity has led the Association to work with the women's prison "Wad Ras" as the inmates of the jail, "The Model" of Barcelona and with the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron, institutions that offered two separate concerts by two names representative of this musical genre nationwide.

Children and sick adults, on the one hand, and people deprived of liberty, on the other, have been enjoying
the essence of a genre filled with strength, varied rhythms, deep feeling with which raise the spirits of people who are going through difficult circumstances.

This year, we are in talks with the Foundation "Father Manuel", to zoom in on an ongoing basis, learning a musical instrument in the prisons of the city, including reformatories, with the possibility of when outside, to continue learning and this time, a way to recover the company, as the beginnings of the Blues in U.S. prisons.
