Keith Dunn & Balta Bordoy (USA & BCN)

Saturday, July 14, 2018 - 20:00

The harmonica player, singer, composer and producer Keith Dunn is now a living legend of the blues, with a professional career of more than thirty years on stage and a very extensive curriculum that includes collaborations with some of the most representative figures of the blues, Billy Boy Arnold, Jimmy Rogers, Hubert Sumlin, Magic Slim, Big Joe Turner, Walter Horton, etc. On stage, Dunn conveys the essence of the Blues with all its strength and purity. Not in vain throughout his career he has performed with the greatest of the genre, which has allowed him to develop his own style, powerful and overwhelming, that effectively combines his work as a vocalist with that of harmonica, two disciplines that the Bluesman from Boston dominates with the mastery of who carries the blues in the blood and more than three decades of experience on stages around the world. Balta Bordoy is one of our best guitarists, born in Palma de Mallorca, since his begginings has focused its attention on roots black music: the Blues, R&B, swing, soul ... Currently part of Los Peligrosos Gentlemen, Lluís Coloma Quartet, Big Mama Montse Band or the Big Dani Perez Quartet. He also occasionally works live with artists such as James Harman, Sax Gordon or Julian Vaughn. On this occasion they present their common project, "Barcelona Sessions Vol.1", recorded live at the prestigious Honky Tonk Bar in this city. This album is the result of a collaboration of about ten years of concerts.
